What’s in this edition…

Two lads are undertaking the challenge of a lifetime, Nicholas O’Brien and Lorcan Byrne have decided to cycle the length of Africa, over 12,000 kilometres (roughly 170 kilometres per day) to raise funds for KCCP and for Orphanage Orlindi in Namibia.

It’s been a busy year at KCCP. Check out photos from our Summer Activities programme and Halloween Disco.

Read ‘Unsung Hero’ to find out about Brenda O’Connell and how she took on Kilbarrack’s drug problem back in the 90’s

Children don’t come with a manual so we have a parenting course called Circle of security to help you get the most out of parenting.

See the incredible wood sculpture of St. Francis – The Bridge. The piece is the work of many hands coming together to bridge the gap between those that have been shunned and the society that has dispossessed them. The project was overseen by our own acupuncturist Derek Williams.

New year and new you.
